Does your baby have sensitive skin? Dropps Baby and Mrs. Meyer’s Baby Blossom Laundry Detergents are two hypoallergenic detergents that are efficient and economical. Both are non toxic, eco friendly brands that can get rid of tough stains and dirt on baby clothing under regular cycle. Both are trusted by mothers all over the United States.
Dropps Baby Detergent is an interesting product. It comes in small pacs, which dissolves when acted with water. You don’t need to cut open the container. You can throw it straight in the washer. It is 6x more concentrated compared to regular detergent. It is economical. A regular pack contains 20 pacs of concentrated laundry soap, which is enough for a regular load.
However, Dropps is not practical if you’re washing small loads. Each piece is measured for a full load. So you’ll be wasting a generous amount of concentrated detergent. Also, the pacs dissolve easily. Make sure that your hands are dry when handling these.
Dropps’ bright blue color is also tempting to your children’s eyes. Make sure you store it out of site. Your child may see it as candy and eat it.
Mrs. Meyer’s Baby Blossom Laundry Detergent, on the other hand, is a baby safe, environmentally friendly detergent that contains no dyes, perfumes or toxic chemicals. Ingredients include deionized water, plant derived surfactants, borax, solubizing agents, cotton extract, enzymes (from biofermentation, non-animal), essential oils of lavender and orange, fragrance, preservatives, polymeric thickener, and citric acid.
You could also use this product in washing clothes in High Efficiency washers. I was surprised how it effectively cleaned my baby’s clothing and cloth diapers. Also, you can use Mrs. Meyer’s detergent in cold water. Thus, using this product would lessen energy consumption.
However, read the instructions of special garments thoroughly. This detergent can be too strong for certain fabrics and ruin it. Make sure you follow these washing instructions before actually putting the clothing in the washer with this product.
