Selestial Soap Natural Laundry Detergent is an eco-friendly product that is made to wash and clean your baby’s clothes without harming the environment. Like BabyGanics and Seventh Generation, this is a baby safe detergent that is free of dyes, phosphates, sodium laureth sulfate, and toxic chemical pollutants. It is guaranteed hypoallergenic and is non-toxic for the environment.
More mothers are now making a switch to green products as the advocacy to saving the environment flourish. Of course, there’s no better way to keeping our children and the whole family safe and healthy than a pollution-free environment.
Selestial is not like conventional detergents that have harmful effects on the ecosystem, particularly the marine life. Some chemical-based products contain ingredients that could imbalance nature, as each finds its way through the waterways and drainage. Some substances, such as phosphates, could kill certain fish species and corals. This does not happen with non-toxic soap products.
Also, this detergent is non-sudsing. You can be assured that there are no residues. This is what I loved about Selestial. Since it’s non-sudsing, I could use it in High Efficiency (HE) washers. Selestial can effectively get rid of stains regardless of water temperature. You can wash in cold water, which cuts off a huge percentage of your electric bill.
Selestial is available in both scented and unscented. I checked the ingredients of the scented bottles for traces of perfumes because they’re really fragrant. There are no perfumes. The manufacturers use natural essential oils. If your child is allergic to fragrances, you would love this product.
On the other hand, Selestial is a little expensive compared to other natural detergents. Its 50oz bottle costs around $6-7, which is higher than products like BabyGanics. If you’re on a tight budget, this might not be your product of choice.
Nevertheless, let us keep supporting eco-friendly products. Make the world a greener, safer place for future generations.
